Beatrice Artuso

Beatrice Artuso, of Worcester, MA passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023 surrounded by her beloved family.  She recently celebrated her 90th birthday. She was the daughter of Italian immigrants Salvatore and Rose (Perri) Groccia and wife of Joseph L. Artuso, who all predeceased her. Beatrice leaves behind her beloved children Michael J. Artuso and wife Mirna, Linda A. Morin and husband Michael, and Debra A. Adamonis and husband John, all of Worcester, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her siblings Delores Moroski and Gerald Groccia and several nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Beatrice was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing bingo, 500 Rummy, trips to Foxwoods and scratching scratch tickets.  She was known for her Italian cookie-baking, a holiday tradition she lovingly shared each year with her daughters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd, Worcester, with interment following in Notre Dame Cemetery & Mausoleum, 162 Webster St., Worcester. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 11 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester.
