Beverly A. (Axton) Manzi, 86, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Clinton and Shrewsbury, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the home of her son Kevin, while surrounded by loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucian Manzi in 1999. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Stewart, II.
Beverly is survived by her loving family, including two sons, Kevin M. Stewart and his wife Karen of Worcester, and Kim A Stewart of Clinton; two daughters, Kerry E. Morin and her husband Thomas of Putnam, CT, and Kathy Abbot of Worcester; a step daughter, Paula Manzi of Mashpee; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She lived with a pain that no parent should have to experience with the death of her son, Kenneth Stewart, III. She was born in Clinton, daughter of the late, Anthony and Elizabeth (Cavanagh) Axton, and lived there most of her life before moving the Shrewsbury and Naples.
She graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1952 and was a manager at Prime Value Mart for many years, before retiring in 1985. She spent many joyous summers with dear friends and family in Wells, Maine.
Her Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, August 12, with a time of visitation from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment, at Mountain View Cemetery, will be held privately.
It is requested that those attending services kindly wear face masks.
