Beverly A. “Chick” (Martin) Paolino, 92, of Worcester, passed away with her devoted daughter and best friend Deborah by her side, Thursday, August 11, 2022, reuniting in heaven with her husband of 68 years, and “Love of her life” Henry and daughter, Kathleen Paolino.
Beverly was born in Worcester, one of four children of Richard J. and Edith H. (Tripp) Martin. She married Henry {Paolino in 1951 and spent the next 68 years with love, dedication and family until Henry left her side in 2018. She continued to lead her family and guide them to this day. Years ago, Beverly worked as a cook at the Wexford House restaurant where later her daughter Debbie was a server there.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah J. Lucier and her husband Joseph of Worcester; two granddaughters she was so proud of, and enjoyed spending so much time with, Christina M. and Amy L. Sliwoski; Many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, husband and daughter, three sisters, Mary Giorgio, Verna Salisbury, and Florence Lentini predeceased her.
Beverly was a member of the former St Margaret Mary Church. She loved the times she spent with her family, during the holidays, special occasions, cooking big meals and getting together. Beverly, especially loved spending time with her granddaughter’s and her dog Jake. Along with her husband Henry, enjoyed vacations in New Hampshire, Cape Cod, cruises and one of her favorite things, dancing. From the time that they met, Henry and Beverly were regulars on the dance floor with people gathered around just to watch. As she moved into assisted living, Beverly spent two years, becoming a well-known face, good friend was loved by the residents and staff. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours, Sunday, August 14th from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Monday, August 15th at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in St John Cemetery.
Beverly‘s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Christopher Heights, especially Caroline, Jeremy and Irma for their care and compassion during her last days.
