Blanche Eleanor (Tyborowski) Mazur, 97, of Vero Beach, FL and Worcester, MA, passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Her husband of sixty years, Joseph Thadeus Mazur, predeceased her.
Loving mother of two daughters, Blanche Necessary and husband Douglas of Vero Beach and Caroline Carregal wife of the late Alfred of Malden, MA. Proud grandmother to Alexander Carregal and fiancée Josephine Nazzaro and Matthew Carregal and wife Michelle (Berlangieri). Sister-in-law to Stanley Mazur and wife Janet of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Beloved sister of late siblings Thomas Tyborowski of Delray Beach, FL, Joseph Tyborowski of Edgewater, FL and Helen Dion of Oxford, MA. She leaves several nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Worcester, MA, Ms. Mazur and her family resided in communities throughout New Jersey, Massachusetts and Florida.
She and her husband were avid travelers as they traversed the entire US and Canada, the Caribbean islands, western and eastern Europe and east Asia namely South Korea. She enjoyed playing and watching golf, obsessing over completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and trying to beat casino slot machines with her nickel bets!
A huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, her priority each morning was to scour newspaper Sports Pages for game results and updates on Tiger Woods, David Ortiz and Tom Brady/Rob Gronkowski. She enjoyed life to its fullest.
Funeral Services are being held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, 32960.
Arrangements made through Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester, MA. Interment at St. Johns Cemetery in Worcester will be private.
