Brandon N Fernandes

Brandon N. Fernandes, 38, a lifelong resident of Worcester with a huge smile and giant heart passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 8th, 2020  at home of an apparent overdose due to substance abuse.

Brandon was born October 2, 1981, the son of Beverly Wallace and Donald Fernandes. He graduated from Burncoat High School class of 2000 and earned his certification as an aviation maintenance mechanic Wyotech . Over the years held many jobs in Auto sales, dispatching, customer service and as an auto technician. He also studied to be a medical assistant with the Health Training Center.

 Brandon is survived by the light of his life and daughter,  Angelina Fernandes who he shared with Stephanie Fernandes, his mother Beverly Wallace with whom he lived; his father Donald Fernandes and stepmother Chrystal; a brother, Christopher Fernandes and sister, Sabrina and Anjelik Sims; stepsisters, Tammy and Tina and stepbrother Tommy. Uncles, Richard Wallace and his wife Debra, Raymond Fernandes and his wife Joanne; his loyal companion and best friend “Buddy” the Chug;several nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Brandon had many talents. He  loved fishing, sports of any kind especially football and he loved cooking especially trying new foods. His favorite times was being with his daughter Angelina who he always called his princess.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 24th, 2020 at 1pm  in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. a period of calling hours will be held from 12pm to 1 pm prior to the service. Angelina is requesting that everyone attending the service wear red, white or black as these are her father’s favorite colors.  Burial will be in the family lot in North Grafton.
