Brenda J. Luzzo

August 9, 1944 — February 8, 2022

Brenda J. (Bisceglia) Luzzo, 77 of Paxton and Boca Raton, Fl., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brenda was born in Worcester; she is predeceased by her parents Mike and Helena (Frazier) Bisceglia.  She graduated from North High School and later earned her certification in secretarial from The Salter School.  Brenda alongside her husband were the owners of Williker’s Tex-Mex & BBQ, formerly the Log Cabin, in Shrewsbury for the past forty-three years. They were also the former owners of various businesses in Worcester County including the Last Chance Saloon, BJ’s Disco, Le Jardin Roller Skating Disco and the Pied Piper Children’s Clothing Store.  Brenda was an immensely talented individual and was quite an artist in her own regard. She received a scholarship to the Rhode Island School of Design but chose to forgo her schooling to enter the various ventures with her husband. Brenda was not only an amazing artist but was also the most amazing cook. Her feasts were known far and wide by all that had the pleasure of spending a holiday or Sunday dinner with her and her family. Nobody ever left Brenda’s home hungry, in fact, most guests left with enough food to last them a week. Brenda always enjoyed entertaining and setting up extravagant decorations for the holidays, but nothing gave her more pleasure than spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her family time at her home in Boca Raton and family vacations on Cape Cod. Brenda had a lust for life and her grandchildren were by far the light of her light. She never missed any of their sporting events or dance recitals and could be found travelling the country to watch any of their competitions. She was truly the best Nana and she will be sorely missed by all.

Brenda is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 57 years, Richard J. Luzzo, Sr.; their four children, Lisa A. Freilich and her husband Andrew, Richard J. Luzzo, Jr. and his wife Dana, Marc A. Luzzo and his wife Lisa and Anthony J. Luzzo and his wife Leah; eleven grandchildren, Alex, Josh and Jared Freilich, Talia and Cameron Luzzo, Nicholas, Tyler and Celia Luzzo and AJ, Lucca and Dante Luzzo; two sisters, Theresa and Francine Cassanelli both of Shrewsbury; a brother, Denis Murphy of Auburn; many nieces and nephews.
