Brenda M. Sosvielle

Brenda M. Sosvielle, 60, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.  

Brenda is survived by a daughter, Christina M. Swanson; two sons, Chad A. Swanson and Lance E. Swanson, all of Worcester; three grandchildren, Kiana Moore, Cheyenne Moore, and Warren X. Moore; two brothers, Joseph Sosvielle of Oxford and Robert Sosvielle, Jr. of Worcester; three sisters, Debra Braga, Linda Leanna, and Donna Buteau, all of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.  Brenda was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Robert Sosvielle, she graduated from North High School and has lived here all her life.

Brenda was a clerk in the meat department for Price Chopper Markets for over twenty years and was instrumental in establishing new meat departments for the openings of new Price Chopper locations throughout the area.  She loved watching football and going to Hampton Beach. She loved her family and welcomed many into her home, where she became a “second mom” to many of her kids’ friends.  She was the life of the party and was lovingly known to some as “Uncle Brenda”.

Calling Hours will be on Wednesday, July 26, from 4 pm to 7 pm, followed by a Prayer Service at 7 pm in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
