Brian P. O’Malley, 37, of Milford, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
Brian is survived by his parents, Robin M. (Bisceglia) O’Malley Murphy and her husband Bill Murphy of Worcester and David M. O’Malley of Boynton Beach, Florida; his sister, Jessica M. O’Malley; grandmother, Grace Bisceglia, both of Worcester; several aunts, uncles including, Cindy and Mick Cunnane of Shrewsbury, several cousins including, Jean Cunnane, Jamie Fife and her fiancé Zach Saad and their daughter Charlee Fife; with whom he had become very close to upon returning from Florida; and his life-long best friend, Steve Curll.
Brian was born in Worcester and graduated from Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury. He graduated from Quinnipiac College, he then matriculated at Florida International University and received a master’s degree in athletic training and sports conditioning. In his endeavor to continue learning he began studies at Nova Southeastern University and earned a doctorate in physical therapy. He was working as a Physical Therapist at Sports and Wellness Physical Therapy at the Adirondack Club in Franklin.
Brian was an avid sports fan and physical fitness enthusiast; he loved the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, and New England Patriots, and was fortunate to have the opportunity to attend many Red Sox games over the years. He was a soccer player in high school and continued his enjoyment of the sport.
A Memorial Mass for Brian will be on Wednesday, November 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike (route 9 east), Shrewsbury, MA. There are no calling hours.
