Bruce Lee Torres, 49, a lifelong Worcester resident , father, brother and devoted son, passed away surrounded by family, Sunday, November 6th 2022.
Bruce was born in Worcester, the son of Yolanda Torres and the late Jesus M. Torres. Educated in Worcester, Bruce had a gift for tinkering and a love to fix cars. He founded his own company in Auto repair, and ran the company out of Ernie’s Autobody in Leicester for many years.
Bruce is survived by his five children, Apocalypse Torres in Idaho, Isaiah, Josequiel, Yolizmar and Ivannie Torres all of Worcester; his mother who he was devoted to and principal caregiver for Yolanda Torres with whom he lived; three sisters, Maritza Torres, Carmen Torres and Marilyn Carrion; a brother, Richard Torres all of Worcester: a grandson Sebastian; Many nieces and nephews including Pedro Morales, Keyoung Morales, Yoliana Morales, Eric Morales and Geon Morales; other extended family members, aunts, uncles and cousins, many friends and customers.
Bruce had a huge heart, a bright smiles and ability to fix anything, a true “Jack of all Trades”. He loved computers, cars, music both producing and managing, and always being able to help someone fix something, counsel or provide a guiding thought. A self-proclaimed “Mommy’s Boy” Bruce, always made sure his mom was taken care of, had what she needed, and the ability to get out of the house and go with him anywhere. He was a true family man and happiest with all his family around him.
Calling hours for Bruce will be held Monday, November 14th from 5 pm to 8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 15th at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
