Carol A. Cormier

Carol A. (Wilcox) Cormier, 76 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

Carol was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Alvah and Phyllis (Cook) Wilcox.  She graduated from North High School and has resided in Worcester all her life.  Carol worked as a unit secretary for the Social Security Administration for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Judi Harrington and her husband Matthew of Spencer; a daughter-in-law, Rebecca L. Cormier of Worcester; a brother, William Wilcox and his partner William Noble of South Cloverdale, IN; a sister, Judith Goodhue and her husband William Goodhue of Fountain Valley, CA; seven grandchildren, Joseph Cormier of Worcester, Nicole Harrington of San Diego, Audrianna Harrington and her fiancé Dylan Anderson of Spencer, Brenden Picard of Puerto Rico, Connor Picard of Worcester, Mia Harrington and Charlee Anderson of Spencer; four grand dogs and many nieces and nephews.  She was recently predeceased by her son, Joel Cormier on July 18, 2023. Carol is also predeceased by her husband, Irving Cormier and a brother, Phillip Wilcox. 

Services for Carol will be held privately.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
