Carol Ann Gigliotti, 82, of Millbury, formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Carol was born August 7, 1942, in Worcester to Frank and Caroline (DeCataldo) Gigliotti.

Carol owned and operated The Newton Manor Rest Home in Worcester for many years before retiring. She was an excellent cook who embraced her Italian heritage and could prepare delicious “delish” (as Carol would say) dishes and desserts. Her love for her family and the Holidays especially Christmas was unmatched. She enjoyed listening to her favorite singer Barbara Streisand, playing cards, and sharing in a good laugh with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her dear friend of 47 years Marie. M. Callahan. Carol is survived by her beloved brother Frank Gigliotti and wife Christine Tinsley Gigliotti of Hyannis; nephews Marc Landry (Caroline), Joseph Gigliotti (Jamie), Anthony Gigliotti and Sean Gigliotti; nieces Valerie Taylor (Michael), Mary-Kate Lott (Matthew), Shannon Impagliazzo and Bebhinn Daly; close cousin and friend Patricia Chapin and many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Parishioner of Saint John’s Church Carol’s Catholic faith was an essential part of her life. She was a faith filled woman who loved her family, church and community. It is now the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. May she rest in everlasting peace.
