Carol R. (Sanger) Martocci, 80, of Sutton, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Notre Dame Nursing and Rehabilitation in Worcester.
Carol is survived by her fiancé, David Setaro of Sutton; three sons, Nicholas G. Mitchell and his fiancé Cheryl Tremblay of Millbury, Mark A. Martocci of Millbury, and Anthony S. Martocci and his fiancé Alyssa D’Amore of Sutton; two daughters, Pamela J. Fitzgerald and her husband John of Worcester, and Deana M. French of Franklin; a brother Col. Jasper J. Sanger, USA, Ret and his wife Carol of Phoenix; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren (one soon to be born); nieces and nephews. Tragically, Carol was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl A. Robertson 2010 and by her son in law, Franklin Robertson in December 2022.
Carol worked for many years at Worcester State Hospital as a phlebotomist, and upon its closing, she worked for a private insurance lab, before retiring. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing in New Hampshire, spending time by the ocean, and had a deep love for animals, especially her cats and dog.
Carol will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Calling Hours will be on Sunday, October 22, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., concluding with a Prayer Service at 5 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
