Cecelia (Kaseta) "CeCe" Hinkle, 73 of Lincoln, Nebraska formerly of Worcester, passed away with family gathered at her bedside, Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
CeCe was born in Worcester, the daughter of Felix and Cecilia M. (Pennacchio) Kaseta. Raised in Worcester, CeCe graduated from Venerini Academy and lived her life in Worcester raising her family with love until April of 1999 when she moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to live with her current husband Theodore A. “Ted” Hinkle. She’s lived there for over 25 years.
CeCe is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Hinkle; a son, Joseph Bolduc and his wife Michele and granddaughter Emma of Sutton. Ted’s five children she thought of as her own, Jeremy Hinkle and his wife Leslie, Sarah Winters and her husband Chad, Elizabeth “Liz” Douglas and her husband Jason “Jake” all of Lincoln, Daniel Hinkle and his wife Jody of Hastings Nebraska, Sydney Hinkle of Virginia Beach, Virgina; 11 Grandchildren; Extended family and friends, both in Lincoln and home in Worcester; in addition to her parents, a brother, Philip A Kaseta passed away in 2016.
CeCe was a former member, Eucharistic minister and CCD educator of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church and a member and Board of director of several HOA boards in Lincoln. She loved shopping, socializing, her grandchildren, and especially the holidays and special occasions when she could be surrounded by her family and friends.
A period of calling hours will be held Monday, July 8th from 9:30am to 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St followed by a prayer service at 11 am. Burial will follow in St John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brookline Ave, Boston, MA
