Cheryl A. Houlihan, 61., of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in UMASS Memorial Health Care.
Cheryl was born on February 22, 1957 in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late William N. and Antonette A. (Sangillo) Houlihan. She was a 1977 graduate of North High School and has lived in Worcester all her life. Cheryl worked as a certified home health aide for over 15 years.
She is survived by her two sisters, Karen M. Blanchard and her husband Mark of Oakham and Ann Marie Maros and her husband Joseph of Webster. Besides her parents she is predeceased by a niece, Katrina L. Blanchard.
Cheryl had a heart of gold. She had many friends and extended family. She loved to go shopping, going to the movies, out to eat, and getting the scoop. She loved being with her family and fiends and will be sadly missed specifically by her two sisters who took care of her until her final day.
Family and friends whose lives Cheryl touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018. Her funeral will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow to Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
