Christine T. "Tina" Brown

Christine T. “Tina” Brown, 86, of Worcester went home to her lord and Savior Wednesday July 18,2018 in the UMASS Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Christine is survived by her loving sister Antoinette Sarasin and her husband Joseph of Worcester, two nephews Joseph A. Sarasin and his wife Angela of Hilliard, Ohio, and Christopher F. Sarasin of Worcester. Christine also leaves her great nieces and nephews that she was so proud of, Sophia Gabrielle Sarasin, Joshua David Sarasin, and Michael Joseph Sarasin. Christine also leaves her loving Canine Companion Jack. She was predeceased by her Aunt, Ann DeBonis and Uncle Frank DeBonis whom she was very close to. And her favorite pets Brandi and Sparky.

Christine was born in Worcester daughter of the Late Lester and Theresa (DeBonis) Brown and lived here all her life. She was graduate of Commerce High School. Christine worked for the Industrial Packaging Company for many years. Her last employer was the City of Worcester where she worked as a Crossing Guard on Shrewsbury Street she loved that job and the Kids loved her. Christine was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed Crochet, knitting, and had a knack for home decorating. She loved going to Maine at her campsite and could always be found shopping for something she didn’t need!  However her most treasured times were when she was with her family. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family especially her sister Antoinette whom she loved dearly. Christine loved the Lord Jesus and accepted him as her personal Lord and Savior, she is home with all her friends and relatives.

 Christine’s calling hours will be held on Monday July 23, from 4PM to 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto 33 Massasoit Rd. Interment will be in St John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Waves of Glory Christian Ministries P O Box 1175 Hilliard, Oh. 43026.
