Conrad Joseph Zukowski, 77 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the comforts of his home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 with his family by his side.
Conrad was born in Worcester, MA. on August 19, 1944, the son of the late Benjamin and Mildred (Kulesza) Zukowski. He was a graduate of North High School and later received his associates degree from Worcester Junior College. Conrad served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Aldebaran. He worked as an engineer for RCA, Data General and Vee-Arc. Conrad also worked for American Muscle Car Restorations Inc. and later his own business, Conrad’s Radio Service for many years before retirement. He was an avid auto enthusiast and car builder.
Conrad leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Cheryl A. (McCullough) Zukowski; his son, Christopher Zukowski and his wife Renee of Charlton; two grandsons, Cole and Evan Zukowski of Charlton; a sister, Barbara Ganley and her husband Paul of Brookline, NH; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Clark and her husband Oliver of Cape Coral, FL and Sandra Clark and her husband Edwin “Chip” of Venice, FL; several nieces and nephews.
A period of calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 4-7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. His funeral service and burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to a charity of your choice in Conrad’s name.
