Cora H. Poole, 26, of Northbridge, formerly of Worcester, a vibrant young woman, passed away so unexpectedly and suddenly at home Sunday, Christmas evening, December 25, 2022, after suffering a medical emergency.
Cora was born in Natick; her parents are James S. and Marianne D. (Gambon) Poole. She grew up in the Burncoat neighborhood of Worcester and graduated from Burncoat High School. Cora then earned an associate’s degree in Deaf Studies from Quinsigamond Community College and another associates degree in legal administration from Mt Wachusett Community College. She then accepted a position as a paralegal for Hassett & Donnelly PC law firm in Worcester, where she was dearly loved and admired by Lawyers and co-workers alike.
Cora is survived by her parents, James and Marianne; a brother, Peter Poole; her boyfriend Devon A. Archambault; her pet dogs and best friends, Chase, Angel and Grover; her Godparents Stephan Gambon and Ann Cassidy; Aunts, Uncles, extended family and many friends.
A bright young women, hard worker and supportive friend; She loved Christmas, hanging out with Devon and their friends, having fun with her co-workers, trips notably, to Oregon, and New Hampshire. Cora was a shining light, with hearing impaired parents. She lived her life, in two worlds; One where you could hear and one where you could not.
A period of calling hours will be held Monday, January 2nd from 10 to 12 noon, followed by her funeral service in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be private. Memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Learning Center for the Deaf, 848 Central Ave., Framingham, MA 01701.
