Daniel P Gabree, 57, of Worcester past away on October 1, 2018 surrounded with love by his wife and daughter.
Dan was born and raised in Worcester and was preceded by death by his father William Gabree and his mother Gertrude (Healy) Gabree Condon, and his two brothers, Michael and Robert.
Dan was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind the love of his life Laura-Lee (Ricard) to who he was married to for 36 years. He leaves the light of his life, his daughter Alyson. Dan will forever live in the hearts of his friends and extended family members, especially his brother in-laws Alfred and his wife Susan, Ron, and Vincent and his wife Patricia Ricard, and his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dan graduated from Worcester Boys Trade and was employed with Metso Automation (formally Jamesbury) for more than 25 years. During his younger years he was an All City recipient in both baseball and football. He was involved in various clubs in the city. He was an active member and past president at Brown Square Civic Club, a member of the F.O.E # 4311 and Post #3. He was an honest man, where his word was gold and he took pride in it. Dan always put his family and friends first, whether it was cooking for a party at Brown Square or organizing a golf tournament or bus ride to Saratoga Race Track or having a good time on the dance floor. Dan always made sure to hug his friends goodbye and let them know that he loved them.
He will leave this life knowing that he was loved.
