Daniel V Patient 69 of Worcester died unexpectedly Monday September 6, 2021 at home. Born in Worcester, Danny was a life-long resident of the city and the son of Roland and Dorothy (Granger) Patient. He was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School. Danny worked in the family business for several years, Roland V Patient & Sons Plumbing and Heating, until he was unable too because of disability. Danny leaves his three siblings, Ronald Patient and his wife Marlene of Leicester, Anne Marie Patient and her fiancée Alan Siclari of Worcester and Richard Patient and his wife Susan of Sutton, an aunt, Sr. Marguerite Patient SP in Holyoke, nieces and nephews, Angelina, Renee, David, Ernest, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Gregory and a great nephew Arlo, along with several cousins. Danny’s family was his joy in life, always willing to give a helping hand anytime he was asked. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Danny was a lover of sports, especially the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He never missed watching the games and loved to talk sports with anyone. Early in life Danny would round up the neighborhood kids to play baseball at the Lake Park baseball field and would play any other sport anyone would want to play. Danny will also be remembered by his close friends at the Genesis Club on Lincoln St. Worcester where he loved to be involving himself in the many activities.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Danny at the Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church 35 Hamilton St. Worcester 01604 on Tuesday September 21, 2021at 10am. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at Notre Dame Cemetery. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester is honored to serve the Patient Family.
