David L Dalton

David L. Dalton, 81, of Shrewsbury, MA died January 26, 2023 after a period of declining health.  Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of Guy & Isabelle (Ellis) Dalton. He leaves behind his loving wife, Carole (LaCoursiere) Dalton and daughters Lynn Anderson and her husband Art of Wilbraham and Jennifer Lawrence of Ellington, CT. He was the proud grandfather of Ashley (Anderson) Brown, Amber (Anderson) Edmonds, Alyssa Anderson, and Jamie Lawrence and great-grandfather of Jaxson, Logan, Rylan, Emma, and Jeffrey.  He also leaves a brother, Douglas Dalton and his wife Carol of Murrells Inlet, SC, and many nieces and nephews throughout western MA.  Along with his parents, David was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey S. Dalton.

Following his graduation from Springfield Trade High School in 1959, David worked as a printer and was employed at Bay State Gas for most of his adult life. He then continued working in his trade at Western New England College until his retirement. He also had a great love for artwork and his cars.

There will be no public services for David.
