Douglas P. Demars, 61, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Memorial Hospital.
Douglas is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Lisa A. (Rinaldo) Demars; their daughter, Leanne M. Demars and Eddie Demarski of Rutland; two granddaughters, Caroline and Madison Demarski; a brother, Daniel Demars of Leicester; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five siblings, David and Dennis Demars, Kathleen Veronick, Christine Riccio, and Carol Bruso. Douglas was born in Worcester, son of the late, Ernest and Mary (Kelly) Demars, and has lived here all his life.
Douglas worked in the dietary services department at UMass Hospital for over fifteen years and has previously worked as a machinist with Morgan Construction. Doug’s favorite things were golf and his family; he enjoyed every moment he could be surrounded by his grandchildren, and if they could caddy, there would be perfection in the world.
