David Anthony Pepper

David Anthony Pepper, 55, of Webster, MA passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on June 20, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Zawalich) to whom he was married for 27 years. He was the loving father of David Pepper II, Sabrina Pepper, and Amanda Rodriguez, and the grandfather of Nevaeh, Jeaven, Elaina, Lily and Levi. He leaves behind his parents-in-law, Walter and Elaine Zawalich, with whom he resided, four sisters - Suzanne Miller, Debbie Peterson, Lisa Erti and Melissa Pepper, one brother, Arthur Dusoe, his stepmother Joanne Pepper, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved Scottish Fold kitten, Cosmo. David was predeceased by his parents, William Pepper and Jean Hall.

Dave loved spending time with his family more than anything. He especially enjoyed taking his grandkids out to play and for lunch dates. He also enjoyed bowling, attending concerts, car shows, trips to the beach, and any other outings with his family. He was well-known to be the one with his camera always ready to capture every precious moment during gatherings.

David worked for the Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for several years before transitioning to a career in the local school system, and finally returning to a career in healthcare. David was a hard-working individual until he became chronically ill and needed to take time to focus on his health.

His sense of humor was unmatched as were his kind words. He will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Gone, but never forgotten.

A period of calling hours will be held Friday, July 1, from 12-3 PM at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 3 PM.
