David K Zecco

February 27, 1964 — September 11, 2021

David K. Zecco, 57, of Northborough, died on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at UMass Hospital in Worcester.  He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

David was a 1982 graduate of Algonquin Regional High in Northborough, and Worcester Industrial Technical Institute, and earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Central New England College.  He owned and operated Zecco Bros. Inc. with his brother, Michael.

He is survived by his son, Hunter W. Zecco and his partner Aly Shoemaker; his partner, Lisa Fox; his twin brother and best friend, Michael Zecco and his wife Juliana, all of Northborough; his other siblings Patrick A. “Tony” Zecco and his wife Jennifer, and Carren DiAntonio and her husband Guy, all of Buzzards Bay; his brother in law, Paul Kelley of Newport; an aunt, Drena Troiano of Shrewsbury; many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends..

He was born in Marlborough, son of the late, Patrick V. and Janice (Betteridge) Zecco.  He was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Kelley.

David was a past president of the Northborough Lions Club.  He was a member of the Wareham Elks and was a 32nd degree Mason.  He enjoyed fishing off Cape Cod and Panama and hunting across the U.S. and Canada.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially on his property in Northborough.

Funeral Services will be private.

Donations in his memory may be made to Northborough Fire Department Ambulance EMT Fund, 11 Peirce Street, Northborough, MA 01532. (make payable to Northborough Fire Dept.)
