David A. Zeek, 71 of Millbury passed away Friday January 8, 2021 at UMass Hospital from failing health and complications of the COVID-19 virus. Born in Worcester, son of the late Carl and Vincenza (Protano) Zeek, David was raised in Shrewsbury but lived a majority of his life in Millbury.
David was a graduate of Worcester Industrial Technology Institute and earned a degree in graphic design. He was a Mechanical Drawer for Data General for many years where he cultivated many lifelong friendships. After leaving Data General, he held various jobs and finally retired at the age of 64.
David enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and always seemed to be the life of the party. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends who shared a mutual love for Boston sports teams, men’s softball, and the local bowling leagues. David also enjoyed trips to Cape Cod to relax on the beach and visits to Maine to spend time with his brother Donald. But most of all, he will forever be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
David leaves his three daughters, Dawn Zeek, Tracy Dupuis and her husband Robert, and Kelly Bernier and her husband Matthew, one brother, Donald Zeek, and five grandchildren, Jazmin, Joshua, Jacob, Cecilia, and Cameron.
