Dean “Beanie” Price 61, a lifelong Worcester resident departed this life on Friday, December 9th, 2022.
Dean was born in Fitchburg, to the late Milton A Price, Sr, and Elnora (Kelley) Price and preceded in death by his late brother Lee “Modie” Price. He graduated from Burncoat High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Dean then worked various jobs for many years before officially retiring.
He is survived by his three children, Steffin Price of Wilmington DE, Monique (Rico) Allen of Dublin, GA and E’zani Fernandez, of Lake Wales, Florida. Two brothers, Steven and Milton A Price, Jr. of Worcester, MA; three sisters, Linda Bailey, and Phyllis Laura, both of Worcester, and Christine Johnson of Alabama. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Savanna, Sierra, and Kayden; an Aunt Gloria Ross of GA; Nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of close friends, Alicia Penick being one of the closest.
Dean had a huge heart and bright smile. He loved sports, especially football, basketball and baseball. Dean was a standout athlete in both and played in the parks league for the Brotherhood football team as well as the Black Sox baseball team.
A period of calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 21st from 10 am to 11 am at Mercadante Funeral Home followed by his funeral service at 11 am. Burial will be private. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
