Diane DiLeo

Diane Mary (Damon) DiLeo left us on November 13, 2023. She passed peacefully at Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester.

Born June 5, 1937, she was raised in Gardner along with her eight siblings. Her family moved to Shrewsbury when she was in high school. Diane resided in Shrewsbury for all her adult life. 

Predeceased by her husband and best friend Julio "Putt" DiLeo, she is survived by her daughter Gina, her grandson Kevin and her son Gary and his wife Kelley.

Diane had a passion for baking and enjoyed preparing “made from scratch” goodies for family and friends, in particular her Elegant Party Cakes, along with her Christmas Cake, and much anticipated cookies and breads. She lived a long and full life and will be sorely missed.

We are grateful to the Staff and Volunteers at Rose Monahan Hospice House for the care, compassion, love, and dignity they bestowed upon our mother. It gave us great comfort to know she was at peace there.

Funeral arrangements are private and directed by the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL.
