Diane F. Tuttle, 64, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, surrounded by her daughters.
Diane was born in Worcester, September 22, 1956, one of five children of Robert L. Tuttle, Sr. and Margaret (Hayes) Tuttle. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School and earned her associate degree in human services from Quinsigamond Community College. Diane then worked her entire life, assisting others less fortunate in the field of human services for several companies, including the Diocese of Worcester, Catholic Charities.
Diane is survived by her family, two daughters, Lisa Marie and her children, Desiree, Kashus, and Shakur of Worcester, and Lindsey Marie and her children, Brett and Bryleigh of Barre; four siblings, Roberta L. Brien of Barre, Robert L. Tuttle, Jr. of Jefferson, Pamela J. Sandakli of Spencer and Dorothy Davis of Worcester; her pet dogs and best friends, Zoey and Gabby; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. Diane was predeceased by her parents, granddaughter Bryna Clarkson, and lifelong love Michael.
In Diane’s life, there was nothing more important than her family and her pets. Having her children and grandchildren around her was the greatest moments of her life. The family dinners, special occasions, and holidays were those most she looked forward to. Diane also cherished her work with people in need and providing comfort and security to children in turmoil as a foster parent. She also loved camping and looked forward to every summer when she could camp under the stars at Lamb City Campground in Phillipston with family and friends by her side. The past few years, Diane enjoyed watching TLC and shopping on QVC when she wasn’t finding deals on Craigslist.
