Dominic P. DeSimone, 88 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.
Dominic was born and raised in Worcester and attended Worcester schools. He worked as an inspector at Holbrook Drop Forge. He previously worked for Modern Manufacturing. Dominic was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He enjoyed vacations especially to Aruba, loved cruises, being with family and was a lover of breakfast.
Dominic is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Nunziata (Perri) DeSimone; four siblings, Helen L. Carlson, Elvira E. Andros, James R. Desimone and Charles DeSimone.
The family would like to specifically thank James Desimone (nephew) and Charlene Chase (niece) for their love, care and devotion to Uncle Dom. Dominic was able to live independently until his recent illness, due to the dedication, love, and support offered by James and Charlene.
A period of calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 10 am to 12 noon with his funeral service immediately following at 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
