Donald R Johnson

Donald Roy Johnson, 73, of Webster, MA and formerly of Worcester, passed away at his residence on September 21, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of over 50 years of Jane (Fitzgerald) Johnson, who survives.  He also leaves a daughter, Felicia Marie Johnson, a grandson, Brendan Robert Johnson, and a niece and nephew.

Born and raised in Worcester, Don was a graduate of Burncoat High School. He then attended trade school and became a licensed electrician, working for many years for Norton/St. Gobain. He also enjoyed his years of mowing the greens at the Worcester Country Club, where he enjoyed many sunrises from his favorite spot.  Not only did Don mow the greens, but he enjoyed the sport of golf, both as a participant and a spectator.  He took pride in his work, which carried over to the pride he took with his own lawn and landscaping.  Having a random stranger approach him and tell him how beautiful his lawn was, was the greatest compliment he could ever receive.
