Dr. Henry J. Esber, PhD.

On February 24, 2024, Dr. Henry J. Esber of West Boylston, passed away at the age of 85 years after a long illness. Born in Tripoli Lebanon, Henry moved to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue his education and ultimately his Doctorate in West Virginia before settling in Massachusetts. 

He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Tina R. Esber, his brothers Roger Esber of North Carolina and Raymond Esber of Wisconsin, and his sister Mary Atallah of Worcester. 

He leaves his daughters Sonya Abdien and her husband, George Abdien of Shrewsbury and Tanya Franco of Holden, his three beautiful granddaughters Athena Abdien of Shrewsbury, Gianna and Nikki Franco of Holden and many nieces and nephews.  Henry loved his family dearly and he holds a place in our hearts forever.

Services will be held privately.

The family has entrusted Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel.
