Edith Bah, 47, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Edith was born in Cameroon and immigrated to the US in 2003, settling in Worcester, MA. She was a Registered Nurse (RN) and served at many nursing homes and hospitals in the Leominster/Worcester area, most recently at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital for 9 years.
Despite her love for nursing, she was also a realtor helping many families in the Worcester area buy their first homes. She was also actively engaged in various groups in the community including the Cameroonian Social Club (CAMSOC), BongAbi New England, Wimbum Community USA (WICUDA), Reliable sisters of Worcester, and Bui Family Union, USA (BFU-USA).
She leaves behind her sons James, Eugene, and Samuel; grandchildren, Evianna, Lemuel, and Berlin; sisters, Rose and Immaculate; brother, Edwin; mother, Roseline; and other extended family and friends in the US and Cameroon. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend and colleague to so many.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 29, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Church Hall of the Armenian Church of Our Savior, enter at 34 Boynton Street, Worcester. Following the viewing, a wake will continue, in the church hall, until 11 p.m.
Her Funeral will be on Saturday, October 30 at 9 a.m. at Living Word Church, 30 Tyler Prentice Road, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
The family has entrusted Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel.
