Efthalia C. (Economos) Baker, 86 of Sterling passed away peacefully in the Golden Living Center – The Hermitage. Her husband of 47 years, William T. Baker passed away in 2001.
She leaves her son, Jeffery W. Baker and her daughter, Cynthia B. Baker; two granddaughters and two great grandsons. She is predeceased by her sister, Cynthia F. Pasquino. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Efthimious & Clara (Santerre) Economos. She graduated from St. Peter Marion Catholic High School.
Efthalia worked as an assistant administrator for Young’s Travel for many years. She enjoyed knitting baby blankets and donated them to the maternity wards at local hospitals.
A Graveside service for Efthalia will held in the Heritage II section of Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made in Efthalia name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O.
