Eleanor M. (Pantanella) Murray, 93, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, surrounded by her children in the comfort of her home. Her husband, James P. Murray, predeceased her in 1997.
Eleanor is survived by her loving children, Betty White and her husband James of Worcester, Cheryl Arvanitis and her husband Andrew of Leominster, David S. Kroll of Millbury, twins Kathleen Ramian and Stephen D. Murray, both of Worcester; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a stepson, Michael Murray in 2021; and by a brother and sister, Jack Pantanella and Elizabeth A. Allen. Eleanor was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Bernard and Josephine (Toto) Pantanella and has lived here all her life.
Eleanor a was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary Church and was currently a member of Saint Anne’s in Shrewsbury. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, and a good game of cribbage. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed.
Funeral Services are being held privately.
