Emile Khoury, 89, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2021 at UMass Hospital in Worcester.
Emile is survived by his wife, Wadad (Saba) Khoury, with whom he would have celebrated fifty-six years of marriage on February 14. He is also survived by his sons, Nabil Khoury and his wife Alexandra, and Fadi Khoury and his wife Aline; a daughter, Rania Alzoghby and her husband Tarek, all of Worcester; five grandchildren, Aya, Tala, Emile, Emiline, and Zeina; two brothers, Fouad Khoury and Kamal Khoury, both in Beirut, Lebanon, as well as many nieces and nephews both here in the United States and Beirut, Lebanon.
Emile was born in Lebanon, son of the late, Jamil and Afifeh (Nasr) Khoury. He worked as company director for a hunting supply store, before moving to the United States in 1986. After settling in Worcester, he worked as a baker for George’s Bakery. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, and he enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, gardening and being surrounded by his family.
Out of an abundance of caution and the well-being of everyone, Funeral Services will be held privately.
