Millbury - Faith J. (Connor) Wong, 73, of Millbury passed away peacefully Sunday April 29th 2018 with her loved ones gathered at her side.
Born and raised in Somerset, Faith was the daughter of Harold and Vera (Manley) Connor. Always enthusiastic about dance, at age 17 she founded Faith's Dance Studio. Faith was also a savvy, knowledgeable antique dealer and passionate collector, all the while raising her family.
Later in life, Faith moved to Florida and decided to further her education by earning her bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida Atlantic University. Than returning to Millbury, Faith accepted a position as Director of Career Placement for Quinsigamond Community College, where she worked before retiring due to illness.
Faith is survived by her former husband, Dennis Wong, and their two children, Christopher Wong and his fiancée Stacy Bazin, Rachel Nickerson-Clarke and her husband Brian all of Millbury; her grandchildren Megan and Emily Nickerson, Jonathon Nickerson and his fiancée Laura Nowell, her step-grandchildren Hanah and Raeann Bazin: her furry friends Henry and Randolph; extended family members and best friends including Joanne and Ronnie Soares, Peter and Dean, and all thoses within the MacArthur Drive neighborhood. Faith, forever beautiful, enjoyed traveling the World, Boating on Dorothy Pond in Millbury, and shopping at the Christmas Tree Shop. Faith loved entertaining, spending time with and cooking for her children, grandchildren and many of her friends. She took pride in helping those who entrusted her to help them acquire a career upon graduation from QCC. She truly believed that faith, family and friends were the most important aspects of her life and had room in her heart for everyone she met. She was very generous with her love, time and resources. Faith always helped anyone she could.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a gathering of friends, Sunday May 6th from 12 noon to 2 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME, 370 Plantation St. followed by a prayer service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Shih Tzu Rescue Florida, 4474 Weston Rd. #175, Davie Florida, 33331.
