Ferdinand Souop Safogue

Ferdinand Souop Safogue, 80, of Barre passed away January 3, 2024. Born January 1, 1944, to Safogue and Magne Safogue in Bandjoun, Cameroon.

Ferdinand loved to socialize with all the family members. He liked to emphasize the fact that, within society, all the efforts that the parents put into the education of the kids should benefit their future. Moreover, Papa Ferdinand was a fan of soccer in general, but his favorite team was USD, Union Sportive of Douala Cameroon.

In addition to his parents, Ferdinand was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne Tuedem who passed away when she was only 33.

Ferdinand is survived by his beloved children, Christelle Matchum, Celestin Koyou, Alain Duclaux Talla, Jules Bertrand Fogue, Sylvie Solange Mota Epse Tagne; his adored grandchildren, Yannick Franck Wafo, Fresnel Tchumgno, Andresso Togue, Duclaux Tagne, Danielle Tatiana Fogue, Michelle Vanette Fogue, David Fogue, Maurice Fogue, Gianna Claudia Tuedem; his cherished siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm with a Funeral Mass starting at 4:00pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester.
