Frank A Beshai, 73, a lifelong Worcester resident passed away and went to be home with his Lord on Friday, March 3, 2023 with his devoted family, and the Lord, gathered at his side.
Frank was born in Worcester, the son of Anthony and Lenore (DiPinto) Beshai. Raised and educated here, Frank dedicated his life to his position as a sales rep and business owner, a husband, father and grandfather. Frank married Gayle A. Peterson in 1976 and enjoyed the next 47 years devoted to her and their sons. At one time, Frank was a candidate for Worcester County Sheriff.
Frank is survived by his three sons, Zackariah T. Beshai and his fiancé Anna, Micah J. Beshai and his wife Michelle, Felix Rosa and his wife Kristina all of Worcester; two sisters, Angela Dumas in South Carolina, Lucille Bingham of Sutton; four grandchildren he dearly loved and found so much joy with, Haven, Devon, Gabriel, and Alexi; his best friend and pet comfort dog, Fletcher; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Three brothers, David, Daniel and Anthony Beshai predeceased him.
Frank was a devoted faith filled man, a member of the Triumphant Life Ministries church, its bible studies and volunteer groups. He was also a missionary involved with the “Turn the page” sober house mission traveling from location to location. Frank always had a smile even in the face of despair. He faced the future with faith and courage. If Frank wanted to do something, he would stubbornly do it. That was the Frank Beshai way. The final thing he intended to do was attend the birthday party of his sons and daughter-in-law where he got to spend time with his entire family. After fighting a 17 year-long battle with cancer Frank went home to be with the Lord. He was robust, to say the least, and proved that miracles exist. He defied the odds time and time again. He was the toughest person his family ever knew and was never a defeatist about any diagnosis/injury/condition that he endured. Frank was always positive and kept an attitude of thankfulness, whether it was for his sake or for the sake of others. If you knew Frank, chances are he may have yelled at you once or twice. But that also means you were a target of his passion and love. He loved his family beyond comprehension and would go to any length to take care of them. He was so proud to watch his kids and grandkids accomplish literally anything: from bringing home a report card, to sports games, to award ceremonies and everything in between. His family is comforted knowing he is in his heavenly home partying with Jesus.
