Frank Joseph Bove, Jr. 86 of Auburn died peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Born in Worcester, Frank was the son of the late Frank Joseph and Julia (Zannotti) Bove, Sr. At the young age of 17, Frank enlisted and proudly served his country in the U.S Navy. He married the “Love of his life,” Miriam A. Enman in 1957 and together they worked and raised their family.
Frank spent many years in Worcester where he worked as a molder at local foundries. He and Miriam later moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in the late 1980s where they lived for 20 years before returning to Worcester. Frank will be remembered by many for his love of football, gardening, cooking and of course his beloved dog “Brandy”.
Besides his beloved wife Miriam of 63 years, Frank leaves a son, Frank Joseph Bove, III and his wife Doreen, a daughter, Deborah (Bove) Courtney and her husband James all of Auburn; a sister Rose Fournier of Oxford; six grandchildren, Justin and Derek Courtney, Tyler Bove, Jessica Jaimison and her husband Patrick and Chelsea and Shannon Courtney; a great grandson, Caiden Jaimison. Frank was predeceased by two daughters Linda and Sandra Bove.
Funeral services for Frank will be held privately for the family on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma 01605. Burial with military honors will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
