Fredd Mojica

Fredd Mojica, 35, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, September 1st, 2022, after a long period of declining health.

Fredd was born and raised in Worcester, the son of Angel A. Mojica and Nancy Irizarry; 

Fredd is survived by a son, Cameron Mojica, two stepchildren, Elias Gonzales and Jose C Otto; his parents Angel A. Mojica of Worcester and Nancy Irizarry of Camden, NJ; his girlfriend, Ashlynne Charbonneau; eight siblings, Luis Mojica in New Jersey, Jessica Irizarry in Mississippi, Yesenia Irizarry in New Jersey, Jeritza Ramos in Puerto Rico, Jairo Ramos in New Jersey, Angel Ortiz in Pennsylvania, Xavier Mojica in Worcester, and Angela Mojica in Worcester; his maternal grandmother, Luz Valentin, and paternal grandmother, Mercedes Acosta; his aunts and uncles, Evelyn Irizarry, Luis Irizarry, Judith Irizarry, Zaida Irizarry, Nelson Irizarry, Jose Irizarry, Wanda Irizarry, Samuel Mojica, and Elizabeth Mojica; his godparents, Antonio Delgado and Mary Soto; many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Fredd, a homebody, loved watching all sports, spending countless hours with his son, and loved family gatherings, especially for holidays and special occasions. He was always down for an adventure or a spontaneous vacation. He always made sure to be there for his family and friends. His laughter was infectious and his goofy nature when he was around loved ones made it impossible to be in a sullen mood anywhere near him. He was and will always be a source of light in the darkness for anyone who was blessed to have known him.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, September 18th, from 2 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME and CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street. His funeral service will be held Monday, September 19th at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
