Gail R. White

April 2, 1952 — June 14, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail R. White (Williams) (Auntie Gail), 71, of West Boylston, MA. Gail passed away on June 14, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, after a period of declining health. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Elsie Williams. She leaves behind her husband and soulmate of 40 years, Steven Robert White, along with her last living sibling, her sister Sharon L. Priestly, and many nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews that will carry on her love for games and teaching “her” little ones her tricks. Auntie Gail loved them all and she was well loved in return.

Gail was predeceased by sisters, Jerry A. Lemmon, Jacquelyn M Withers, Glenda E LaBlanc, and Rosalyn L. Chubka, as well as her beloved brothers, Kenneth C. Williams Jr and Dennis W Williams.

Gail enjoyed doing puzzles and dabbling in photography, always sharing her photos with family and friends, some were “hidden," but most were displayed. More than anything, she relished the good times she spent with her families, having cookouts and just being together in general. She and Steve rarely missed an event cherishing all the good times. Some wondered how such a big heart can live in such a small person- the reason being that she shared it with everyone.

Gail would love to share sweets- we think she gave them out so everyone would think she wasn’t eating them…. hmmm. It was an event that the children would engage themselves in and could not wait to be as tall as Auntie Gail.

Gail will always be missed but never forgotten.

According to Gail’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.

John 14:2-4

“Do not let your Hearts be troubled. You believe in GOD, also, believe in me. My father’s house has many rooms: If that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you; I will come back and take you with me, that you may be where I am. You know the place where I am going."

In Gail’s words: "Take your time My Stevie, I will be here waiting for you, my love."
