Georgianna Olive Wilson

Georgianna Olive Wilson 85 of Worcester slipped away quietly to her next life on Friday May 14, 2021. Georgie, a lifelong Worcester resident, was the first of nine children born of the late Thomas H. and Georgiana L. Wilson. Her Brother, Thomas O. Wilson passed in 2014, along with her sister Wendy E. Wilson in 2020.

Georgie leaves 3 sisters:  Carol Carrabba-Poirier and her husband Peter, of Rotonda West FL, Laura Wilson of Webster and Joan Ramsdell of Charlton. She leaves 3 brothers: David Wilson and wife Pamila of Oxford, Dennis Wilson of Worcester, and Peter Wilson and his wife Gloria of Auburn. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Bonnie Wilson of Hutto TX, and countless nieces and nephews of three generations.

Georgie was loved and adored by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Being the oldest of nine, she spent much time helping care for the five youngest children. She was known for her grace and charm with all whom she interacted with, making them feel special. Georgie gave all of herself, expecting nothing in return. She loved living at the St. Francis Home, and her family is forever grateful to the staff on 3 North for their care.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Saturday June 19th 2021 at 11:00 AM, at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 695 Southbridge St. Worcester.
