Grace C. (Tarallo) Feeley, 96 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Grace was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Bianco) Tarallo. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and has resided in Worcester all her life. Grace started her career working in the office at US Steel Corporation. She worked many years in the family business beside her husband, whether it be the office manager or a salesperson at “Feeley’s TV & Appliance” and “Plaza Furniture” . Later on while her grandchildren were in school she worked as the “lunch lady” in the cafeteria for the City of Worcester School Department. She finished her working career with her brother Donald selling wedding dresses at “Yours Truly” in Leominster.
Grace was the matriarch of her family and was the driving force in her family. She was a social butterfly who lived life the way she wanted to live it. Grace was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Golden Years Club, volunteered for Elder Services of Worcester visiting seniors citizens. She loved to travel, especially on cruises with her family, playing bingo and going to the casino.
Grace’s husband of 66 years, Richard E. “Dick” Feeley, Sr. passed away on April 15, 2015. She is survived by three sons, Richard E. Feeley, Jr. and his partner Sandra Bertulli of Whitinsville, Stephen J. Feeley and his wife Mary of West Boylston and James A. Feeley, Sr. and his wife Rosemarie of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Cheryl L. Feeley of Worcester, Andrew R. Feeley and his wife Emily Hollocher of Natick, Matthew S. Feeley, DMD and his wife Valerie of Marlborough, Meghan M. Townsend and her husband Sean of Auburn, Michael A. Feeley of West Boylston, James A. Feeley, Jr. and his wife Allysen of Shrewsbury and Jason Feeley of Fort Myers, FL; seven great grandchildren, Lucas James Feeley, Madelyn Grace Feeley, Winter Rose Townsend, Charlie Ann Townsend, Jacob A. Feeley, Hazel Grace Townsend, Jacob J. Feeley, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three siblings, Anthony ‘Skippy’ Tarallo, Marie Stearns and Donald ‘Ducky’ Tarallo.
Services for Grace will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester to Our Lady of Good Counsel, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Monday, April 14th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
