Grace L. Wright

Grace L. Hardifer Wright, 92, of Worcester passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at Worcester with her loving family by her side.  Her husband of 22 years Levi Wright passed away on December 18, 2011.

Grace was born on January 24, 1929 in Jamesburg, New Jersey and was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Roberts and mother Bertha (Maginnis) Roberts.

She is survived by her sons, David Hardifer and his wife Deborah of Ewing NJ, Jeffrey Hardifer and his wife Mindy of South Brunswick NJ and Matthew Wright and his wife Joanna of Worcester MA; ten grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelly, James, Jennifer, Michael, Cherie, Alex, Krysten,  Benjamin and Mia.  She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Daniel, Michael, and Mark Hardifer and their father Daniel Hardifer and her brother George Roberts.

Grace worked for over 17 years as a Dietary Aide for UMASS Memorial Hospital.  She also worked as a House Manager for the Channing House and for Henry Lee Williams Community Center Inc.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading books and playing bingo. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
