Gregory Rolón

Gregory Rolón, Sr., loving and beloved father, brother, grandfather, and a beautiful spirit passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021. He was 64 years young and was surrounded by his adoring family at the time God called him home.

Gregory was born on December 19, 1956, in Manhattan, New York and was preceded in death by his father Gregorio Rolón and his mother Rosa Maria Mora. He is survived by his significant other of 15 years, Karen; two sons, Gregory Rolón Jr., and Donald Foy; four daughters, Jessica, Amber, Angela, and Isabella Rolón; three sons-in-law, Miguel, Christopher, and Javiel; two daughters-in law, Jessica, and Destinee; a brother, Robert Rolón; four sisters, Angie, Veronica, Belinda, and Ruth Rolón; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A brother, Angel R. Miranda predeceased him.

Gregory was a Chimney Sweeper for many years at both Metrowest Chimney and J.E. Fournier Chimney & Roof Solutions and a caretaker to his brother, Robert. Before this he was a Chef and always loved to cook. He was devoted to his family and the most caring father and grandfather. He was generous, fun loving, and always available to help. Gregory had a sense of humor like no other and with that an infectious laugh. He loved the outdoors and adventure. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and knew how to make people feel special. He enjoyed playing basketball, handball, and dominos. He also had a love for movies and music. The void he leaves is immeasurable and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Family, friends and other whose lives Gregory touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
