Isabelo "Prieto" Bultron, Jr.

Isabelo “Prieto” Bultron, Jr., 78 of Worcester, formerly of Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his bedside on Monday, February 22, 2021.

Prieto was born on November 28, 1942 in Carolina, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Isabelo and Epiphania (Torres) Bultron, Sr.  He worked in maintenance for many years at Polar Beverages and the former Centrum.  Prieto loved going to the horse racetrack, cooking, reading the newspaper daily and playing the numbers. 

Prieto is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice Poston; a son, Shakorey Bultron and his wife Shalitmar; seven daughters, Teehan Furtado and her husband Eddy of West Boylston, Erin Poston of Worcester, Reneese Poston and her husband Joseph Booker of Worcester, Shayna Poston of Worcester, Ericka (Bultron) Barbosa and her husband Eddie, Christeen Friend of Texas and Deena Bultron Friend of New Jersey; a brother, Antonio “Orlando” Bultron of Sturbridge; two sisters, Soccorro Bultron and Consuelo Bultron both of Puerto Rico; twenty two grandchildren, MariCarmen Bultron, Shakorey Bultron, Jr., Siana Poston, Kyiem Frimpong, Kaysiah Poston, Isaiah Furtado, Tajae Poston, Keniah Poston, Kemari Edmondson, Antonio Booker, Anyiah Booker, Emily Booker, Shanyla Poston, Shayleece Poston, Marai Poston, Jedidiah Poston, Eziah Barbosa, Ezariah Barbosa, Eli Barbosa, Elana Barbosa, Edwaldo “EJ” Barbosa, Jr., and Isaiah Bultron; many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Prieto will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 10 am to 12 noon with his funeral service immediately following at 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
