Jane Docimo, 70, a lifelong Worcester resident passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, November 14, 2021, surrounded by the family she loved.
Jane was born in Worcester, one of 11 children of Italian immigrants Frank and Michelina (Protano) Docimo. She graduated from North High School and has lived in the home she grew up in all her life. Jane began her career as a medical secretary for the Fallon Clinic, be founding and serving as president of Dooci’s Deli and presently as a Nanny for a private family.
Jane is survived by six sisters, Rose Christy, Carol Camarra, Diane Walsh, Judy Docimo and her twin sister, best friend and with whom she lived Jean Docimo all of Worcester, and Barbara Godek of Auburn; three brothers, James Docimo of Worcester, Robert Docimo of Auburn and Richard Docimo of West Brookfield; 32 nieces and nephews, 57 Great nieces and nephews, and 13 Great Great Nieces and nephews, other extended family members and many friend including Mary Jean Duhamel, Charlene Reger, Ray Lavoie and Joanne Cline McGurn. In addition to her parents, a sister, Joanna Fiore predeceased her.
Jane was a member of the Bethany Gospel Church. She was a generous person with a bright smile and huge heart, who loved to shop, and eat out with friends and her sisters, and help anyone who asked or needed help. Foremost in her heart was her family.
At Janes request funeral services will be held privately. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
