Jeannette M. Hatjakos

Jeannette M. (Latour) Hatjakos, 78 of Northborough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family.

Jeannette was born in Spencer, a daughter to the late Leo R. and Jeannette M. (Viger) Latour and lived in Northborough all her life where she was a graduate of Northborough High School. Jeannette was a stay at home mother and wife where she raised her three daughters and later in life went to work as a bookkeeper for Winter Hill Frozen Foods. Jeannette was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Northborough. She was an avid reader, loved to dance and enjoyed going to the casino. She loved spending time at their home in Maine and traveling with her husband and good friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Jeannette’s husband of 40 years, George A. Hatjakos passed away on June 2, 2016. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Allen and her husband Dennis of Plainfield, NH. And Linda Flanigan and her husband Jay of Northborough; her sister, Barbara Jaskiewicz of Southington, CT; six grandchildren, Christopher Givani and his wife Kelley, Jeffrey Flanigan and his wife Angelica, Ashley Flanigan, Spencer Allen, Sean Flanigan and his wife Jeysa and Tina Andino and her husband Sam; seven great grandchildren, Jordyn, Julian, Stella, Samuel, Joshua, Isabella and John-David; nieces and nephews and many cousins. Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl (Wentzell) Givani.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, December 2nd from 2-5 pm in the funeral home. Services for Jeannette will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
