Jeffrey L. McLaughlin, 65, of Worcester, passed away, unexpectedly, after a long illness on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at his home.
Jeffrey is survived by five sons, Christopher J. McLaughlin of Oxford, Brandon J. McLaughlin and his wife Kimberly of Worcester, Sean T. McLaughlin of Worcester, Kegan M. Cline of Charlton, and Daniel J. McLaughlin of Worcester; two brothers, Edward McLaughlin, Jr. of Leominster and Michael McLaughlin of Melbourne, FL; two sisters, Lisa McLaughlin of Fitchburg and Mary-Ellen Dunne of Thornton, CO; seven grandchildren; his dog, Tug; nieces and nephews. For many years, he suffered a pain that no parent should have to endure, when his son Jeffrey L. McLaughlin, Jr. died in 1978. Jeffrey was born in Worcester, son of the late, Edward and Yvette (Proulx) McLaughlin, Sr., he graduated from North High School and has lived here all his life.
Jeffrey worked at Polar Beverages for over thirty years, retiring as Sales Manager in 2001. He was dedicated to his children and grandchildren and was a coach with Jack Barry Little League when his sons were playing ball. He always enjoyed being with family and his grandchildren were lights of his life.
Relatives and friends are invited to join his family for a Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 18, at 11a.m. in Saint John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. Interment will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flower, donations in his memory may be made to Saint John’s Food for The Poor, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
