Joan L. Hamm

Joan L. (Latendress) Hamm, 88, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at The Christopher House in Worcester.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Hamm.

Joan is survived by a son; three sisters, Evelyn Zuidema, Elaine Latendress, and Elmira Saucier, all of Worcester; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Diaz.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Frank and Lillian (Daigneault) Latendress.

Joan worked for many years as an inspector for Allegra.  She loved plants, crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, and doing crafts.

A Calling Hour will be on Wednesday, December 6, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  Followed by a procession, departing the funeral home at 10:35 a.m. to a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint George Roman Catholic Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester.  Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
