John W. Nichols

John W. Nichols, 45, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at UMass Hospital.

 

John is survived by his three sons, Cote Hamilton of California, Travis Nichols, and John Nichols, Jr., both of Shrewsbury; his mother and step father, Michelena (Mero) and Michael Stephens of Chino, CA; three brothers, Roland Paradise of Gainsville, FL, Mark Mero of Shrewsbury, and Michael Nichols Webb City, MO; a dear friend and confidant, Jennifer LaPorte of Worcester; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  John was born in Worcester, and later moved to Ontario, California, where he went to high school, before he returned to Worcester.

 

John worked as an hvac specialist for many years.  He enjoyed his family and spending time with nature.  He loved to go fishing and boating on the lake and often photographed the beautiful surroundings of nature.

 

Calling Hours for John will be on Thursday, June 21, from 5 p.m. until his Funeral Service begins at 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
